Friend and colleague Tony Desnick of Minneapolize commissioned a video to present at the 2015 Winter Cycling Congress exemplifying the different aspects of winter cycling culture in the Twin Cities.

The video was picked up by several publications including Winter Cycling Blog and MinnPost.

Tony's presentation and the Twin Cities' cycling community and infrastructure earned itself the 2016 host of the the Winter Cycling Congress.

As part of a sendoff to a month of 30 Days of Biking activities, my band played a rolling gig through Minneapolis on a custom-fabricated e-assist tricycle. This is a documentary to show how it came to be.

We set out to create a bike video like the ones you see shared all over. The only issue was that none of us were that great at biking. So doing the best we could, we collaboratively filmed a segment of me learning to ride urban assault and BMX.

In a two-part video, I made a game out of getting across town for a concert: urban mountain biking. Set to the tunes of the concert whose CD release show I was attending, these videos show an angle of Minneapolis not everyone catches.

We drove down to Florida from Minneapolis. It's a long drive, two days for us, so I brought my skateboard and made a game: every time we stop for rest or refuel, I would hop on my board and do a different trick at that spot.
